But when you are a multi-national company that has acquired dozens of other companies, each of which had their own internal networking at the time of acquisition, and are in tight alliances with other companies with which you have VPN peering in order to trade real-time inventory information and other critical data, you don't have the luxury of being able to tell them what their internal network looks like. What is the use case for DHCPv6? As far as I know, Android supports SLAAC and RDNSS just fine. Then you've got issues with deciding on which you want to screw over by being u able to provide an address (I've encountered this exact situation before).
